A very interesting question! Nutritional psychology kind of works in two ways…

      1) The effects of behaviour on nutrition, like how and why we decide what to eat. This is the part of the specialism I focus on. I’m fascinated how people make such different decisions about food and the massive list of influences on those decisions.

      2) The effects of nutrition on behaviour, like how nutrients support mental health. This I’m less interested in, mostly because it’s focused around the brain which I don’t understand at all! But there’s also part of this which is about how good makes us feel, like how body size influences mental health. So, lots of interesting stuff either way!
